JMD Sounds is a record label of JMD Telefilms Industries Ltd with a roster that includes a broad array of devotional, hindi & regional. The artists are leading names from the folk, devotional & regional languages from India. The company boasts a vast catalog that comprises of regional languages from the Hindi speaking belt of India namely Bhojpuri & Rajasthani.

Production company

JMD Telefilms is one of the few commercial TV content producers within India who has worked extensively in the regional TV industry and has produced content for them as well as for the national broadcaster Doordarshan.

In the past JMD has not focused on producing content on its own but now there is a definited strategy shift and with the new team. Presently JMD wants to produce a range of content across every possible genre within the Indian television industry - from action to adventure, from kids programming to drama and soap, to reality television - we want to do it all. Further we want to pioneer in providing television content to Doordarshan, the country’s only nationalized terrestrial channel.

Our belief and key focus is to provide viewers with top quality content that delivers to them entertainment of the highest class and standard.

We want to grow our banner and hence continuously looking for professionals, creative team and even overseas production houses to start successful formats and shows for Indian television industry under our OWN brand of JMD Telefilms.

Also, JMD wants to foray into the mainstream commercial films, JMD has produced some regional films but in due course JMD Telefilms will launch itself even in the mainstream commercial films in Bollywood.
